How our shipping process works

1. You place your order and pay.
2. We pack the products according to the highest safety standards.
3. Your goods are safely on their way to you with our service provider.
4. Ordering via pick-up on site, can be picked up Thu-Sat from 1100 -         1800 or according to the current opening hours at the Shinwazen Shop      in Zurich.

Sale to minors

In accordance with the legal provisions, alcoholic beverages may not be sold to young people under the age of 16 in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and spirits, aperitifs and alcopops may not be sold to persons under the age of 18. By placing an order on www.nipponfood.ch, the customer accepts these provisions and expressly confirms that he is entitled to purchase via a checkbox. The seller does not carry out any further checks on the accuracy of the information and declines any liability for violations or false information.

Availability and reservation of performance in the event of undeliverable products.

All information about the availability, shipping and delivery of a product is preliminary information and approximate indications. They do not constitute binding or guaranteed shipping or delivery dates. Liability for unavailable products or for delays in shipping or delivery is expressly excluded.

We also reserve the right to limit the number of items that can be purchased by a customer. In this case, we will inform the customer accordingly by e-mail.

Prices and shipping costs

Our products and their prices are the same as those stated on our website. All prices are shown in CHF (Swiss francs) and include VAT of 8.1%.

Nippon Food GmbH reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. Products will be charged at the prices in force at the time the binding order is placed.

Shipping costs are not included in the prices.

Terms of delivery in Switzerland

Delivery takes place after receipt of the order and after payment has been received by Nippon Food GmbH.

We ship to addresses in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. As a rule, the delivery is carried out by the delivery service of Swiss Post Ltd. 

We send packages with perishable goods in such a way that they do not remain at the post office over the weekend.

If you would like to provide an alternative delivery address, please leave a comment at the end of the order process.

From a purchase value of CHF 150, Nippon Food GmbH will cover the shipping costs.

The products you order from our online store that are in stock will be delivered to you within 5-6 working days of receipt of full payment, depending on the destination. 

If the products are marked as out of stock when ordering, Nippon Food GmbH will make every effort to deliver the products as soon as possible. Nippon Food GmbH does everything in its power to meet the specified delivery times. However, Nippon Food GmbH is not responsible for delivery delays, regardless of their causes. We will inform you immediately of any delays in delivery.

If the impediment to performance lasts more than 3 weeks after the original delivery date, the customer is entitled to cancel his order. Further claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded.

If the delivery of the product fails due to the fault of the customer despite three delivery attempts, Nippon Food GmbH can withdraw from the contract. Any payments made will be refunded immediately.

International deliveries

International deliveries are made by appointment. It should be taken into account that additional taxes and customs fees may apply, which the customer must bear in full.

Returns or shipment - Rejections due to non-compliant or deviating food regulations and declarations abroad, as well as the costs of examinations and samples, are entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Nippon Food GmbH reserves the right to decide on the acceptance of orders from abroad at its own discretion.
